Thursday May 26th - Musical Evening & Mayoral Reception
  • 7.30pm - Musical Evening in the Mallow GAA Complex featuring local young musicians and dancers -
    • Cuishle Traditional Group,
    • Irish Dancers,
    • Cór Mhágh Ealla (Mallow Choir).
  • 8.30pm Mayor's Reception in the Mallow GAA Complex hosted by
    Councillor William O'Regan M.T.C. (Mayor of Mallow)
Friday May 27th - Conference & Conference lunch
  • 10.00am - 11.30am - Registration in Conference Centre, Cork Racecourse Mallow, with morning tea/coffee and scones.
  • 10.30am - Accompanying persons coach tour to University College Cork and Cork City Centre, including the English Market, with lunch in Springfort Hall, Mallow.
  • 11.45am - Delegates to be seated.
  • 12.00 noon - Welcome by Rally Chairman
    Mr. Charles Mortell, Mallow Probus Club.
  • Welcome by the Deputy Mayor of Mallow.
  • Greetings from the Rotary International District 1160 - Ireland
    Rotarian Barney Callaghan, District Governor Elect.
  • 12.20pm - Address by the Guest Speaker -
    Mr. Tony Ó Dalaigh, Honorary Doctorate NUI (UCD),
    Chevalier des Artes et des Sciences from the French Government,
    Director of Dublin Theatre Festival 1990-99.
  • 1.00pm - Lunch
  • 2.15pm - Rally Business
    • Report on 2010 PROBUS Rally in Ballymena by Christopher Dickson,
      Ballymena Seven Towers Probus Club.
    • Presentation of the Edwin A. Dunlop Perpetual Cup -
      by Past Rotary District 1160 Governor, Rotarian Edwin Dunlop,
      to Londonderry Probus Club, the Club with the greatest attendance combined with the greatest distance travelled to the Rally.
    • Reports by the Rotary District Probus Liaison Officers -

      South: Rotarian Paul Hillis - Past Pres Rotary Club of Dublin Viking

    by Mr. Tony Curtin, President Limerick 922 Probus Club,
    and conclusion of the Rally Business.
  • 5.15pm - First Race of the evening race meeting in Cork Racecourse, Mallow
    The race meeting included the Probus All-Ireland Rally 2011 Handicap Hurdle, for which Mallow Probus Club sponsored a Trophy for the winning owner.
